Description:
- Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems/projects of diverse complexity and scope. Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution.
- The OCMP software engineer is responsible for developments, maintenance and unit tests development on the platform. In relation with the engineering team and cross functional team members, he will investigate and deliver any new feature specified by product marketing. The delivery of these new features requires wide knowledge of the OCMP internals and tight interaction with the other engineers in the team, so that implementation of several fixes in parallel will not affect the overall product development.
- Knowledge on Java socket communication, JSP, servlets etc
- Broad experience of software development and knowledge of C/C++ & Java a must
- Should have hands on knowledge on Linux OS internals & general concepts.
- Good hands on experience in writing and debugging applications using all kinds of ipc (sockets, shared memory, pipes) and threads.
- Good theoretical and hands on experience on various data structures
- Support Assistant Manager/PL/BPA
- Work within a performance culture reporting into an assistant manager of a team
Desired Profile:
- Proficiency in the specific foreign language.
- Good English communication skills, both oral and written
- Should be comfortable with MS-Office and have good typing skill
- Should be open to learning, flexible and adaptable to working in shifts
- Experience of working in a multi-national environment / cross-functional teams is an advantage
- Understanding of accounting or analytical ability is an added advantage.
