Job Description :
- Provide Second level support for our clients.
- Interact with customers to help troubleshoot and resolve complex product problems or issues.
- Interact with external third parties to represent Allscripts client interests and help troubleshoot and resolve complex product problems or issues.
- Diagnose and resolve customer questions or problems over the telephone/Internet in the areas of system configurations/setup, product functionality, and bugs/enhancements.
- Communicate with product development department to improve on current design or to identify possible problems with design.
- Provide root cause and prevention steps where appropriate
- Validate and/or create documentation for support including trouble-shooting guides and knowledge base articles
- Works on queue shifts where you are responsible for incoming support cases during a specific time frame
- Strong organizational, troubleshooting, analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to accept change and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong sense of ownership and good follow through skills
- Provide 24/7 On-Call coverage on a rotating basis.
Desired Profile :
- Knowledge in client-server technology, Windows Server, Windows Client OS, Internet Information Server, TCP/IP networking concepts is a MUST.
- SQL training and experience is a Plus
- Strong leadership capability
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work independently
- Able to effectively function in a team oriented environment
