Job Description :

• Provide Second level support for our clients.
• Interact with customers to help troubleshoot and resolve complex product problems or issues.
• Interact with external third parties to represent Allscripts client interests and help troubleshoot and resolve complex product problems or issues.
• Diagnose and resolve customer questions or problems over the telephone/Internet in the areas of system configurations/setup, product functionality, and bugs/enhancements.
• Communicate with product development department to improve on current design or to identify possible problems with design.
• Provide root cause and prevention steps where appropriate
• Validate and/or create documentation for support including trouble-shooting guides and knowledge base articles
• Works on queue shifts where you are responsible for incoming support cases during a specific time frame
• Strong organizational, troubleshooting, analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to accept change and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong sense of ownership and good follow through skills
• Provide 24/7 On-Call coverage on a rotating basis.

Desired Profile :

• Knowledge in client-server technology, Windows Server, Windows Client OS, Internet Information Server, TCP/IP networking concepts is a MUST.
• SQL training and experience is a Plus
• Strong leadership capability
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to work independently
• Able to effectively function in a team oriented environment
