IIIT-BH is an ambitious initiative of the Government of Odisha to establish a next generation Institute of Technology. The Institute presently offers M.Tech Programme in Computer Science and B.Tech Programme in four disciplines with the approval of AICTE and proposes to offer Doctoral Programme. IIIT-BH needs a Junior/Assistant Laboratory Demonstrator in Chemistry on contract. The selected candidate shall be responsible for smooth functioning of Chemistry Laboratory. Essential Qualification: M.Sc (Chemistry)
The selected candidate shall be engaged for a period of three years. The monthly total compensation shall range from Rs.10,000/- to Rs.15,000/ depending on competence and experience. About the Company:
IIIT Bhubaneswar was initiated by the Government of Odisha and registered as a society in 2006.It started operating in September 2007.IIIT Bhubaneswar owes its origins to the initiative of the Government Odisha. In 2005, the then President of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam laid down the foundation stone of the institute. It is a result of the desire of the Government to establish a world class institute of Information Technology in the state. The Institute has been registered as a society in 2006. The Management of the institute is in the hands of a Governing Body, consisting of representatives from the Government of Odisha, leaders from the IT industry and eminent educationists. On 26 August 2013, the IIIT-Bhubaneswar Bill, 2012 was passed in the Odisha State Assembly which allowed IIIT Bhubaneswar to become an university. The changes recommended in the bill will implemented soon.
