Job Description ::

• Position required to perform assignments requiring the application of routine test and analysis procedures; Understands basic manufacturing processes
• Position reports to an engineer, chemist, project leader, or supervisor and performs test, analysis, or process procedures; Position may also be involved in large scale development activities of a project team under minimal supervision of an engineer or project leader
• Position is required to execute departmental procedures that verify and control the design of products to insure that specified product requirements are met; Required to practice the principles of continuous quality improvement to refine the processes they are assigned
• Executes assembly/test procedures; Assists with development and testing of a particular module or assembly/test process based on detailed design documents; Tests and releases a small fix, process change or corrective action to improve quality, yield or manufacturing cycle time; Updates and writes specifications or assembly/test procedures
• Responsible for calibration of laboratory equipment according to departmental schedules and procedures • Maintain accurate and complete records of laboratory testing for reference, patent purposes, and assurance of design output meeting design input; Prepare written documentation of test procedures, test results, trip reports, and related product development documentation.
