Job Description:

• Understand users' wants and needs and make product feature suggestions based on the competitive landscape and user climate
• Monitor and analyze site traffic and usage data to make programming decisions; classify diverse unstructured data
• Categorize web content under existing taxonomy and help determine its evolution
• Participate in regular high volume testing assignments and contribute key insights
• Communicate ongoing product improvements, distribute information promptly, and escalate issues with the appropriate members of the product team if appropriate

Desired Profile :

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Journalism, Computer Science, Library Information Science, Information Management or related field, and extensive awareness of American culture, popular culture, global news, and Internet trends
• Ability to classify, analyze, and interpret data; ability to pose and debate theoretical arguments based on research and data
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and delve into new topics
• Attention to detail, flexibility, and strong communication, writing, and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills both in written and spoken English
• Flexibility to work early-morning or late-night hours to accommodate interaction across different time zones, as and when required.
• Familiarity with HTML, XML, and basic web page design is a plus.
