L&T Hydrocarbon –IIT Scholarship Scheme for M.Tech (Offshore Structural Engineering) programme @ Last Date To Apply : 5th May 2015

Job Description:                                                                                                                                                                                                     

Eligibility : B.E / B.Tech

Scholarship : Rs. 13400/- per month

Location : Madras

Last Date To Apply : 5th May 2015

Qualification :

• First Class B.E / B.Tech. graduates with minimum of 60% marks / 6.5 CGPA (or 55% marks / 6 CGPA for SC / ST candidates) in Civil / Structural Engineering from a recognized Indian University/ Institute and qualified in GATE.

Age:

• Not more than 23 years as on 27th July 2015.

Selection Process :

• Short-listed candidates will be called for written Test to be conducted by IIT Madras in co-ordination with LTHE at 4 metro cities :Madras, Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata on 16th May 2015. Candidates who clear the written test, will be called for Interview at IIT Madras on 5th June 2015.
• Final selection will be based upon the interview results & also subject to medical fitness as certified by L&T's authorized medical centres.

Award:

• The top two (2) ranking successful students of the course will be awarded an amount of Rs 1 lakh each.

Absorption:

• On successful completion of the course, the candidates will be absorbed in regular employment in accordance with the terms and conditions of the company. Total emoluments on absorption will be up to Rs. 6 lakhs per annum on Cost-to-Company (CTC) basis
