• BE/B Tech or ME/M Tech degree of Computer Science or related majors
• 0-4 years’ experience in software development, or system administration
• Strong at data structure and algorithms creation
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication.
• Prior working in Agile Scrum is a plus.
• Malware Reverse engineering experience is a plus.
• Machine learning and data-mining experience is a plus.

Job Description :

• This is a Developer position in Security Technology & Response Team in Symantec, Pune office.
• Candidate will be involved in the software development lifecycle from design, coding, testing and release as a part of Agile Scrum team.
• Candidate will be part of Efficacy team responsible for identification of efficacy gaps and development of new features/technology, process automation & tools to fix the efficacy gaps.
• Candidates projects will include data-mining a corpus of trillions of samples to understand common patterns that malicious threats employ to evade detection.
• Candidate will develop machine learning techniques such as clustering and decision trees to identify threats.
• Work on security products researching and developing methods to detect and remediate emerging threats.
