Job Description :

As a PC Board Designer with Broadcom you will assist hardware engineers in the design and development of complex and detailed layouts of printed circuit boards using CAD tools. This role involves a high level of collaboration, to produce state-of-the-art designs of new or modified, high density, printed circuit boards while establishing design standards and configurations. You will work from schematics and basic descriptions of the board function, configuration and arrangements as defined by engineering.

As a developing designer you will take responsibility for owning a single PCB layout along with library CAD model generation. You will apply basic technical expertise and procedures to assist in the resolution of a variety of issues. You will work on problems of appropriate scope and follow standard practices and procedures, analyzing situations and/or data so answers can be readily obtained. You can expect to receive little instruction on day-to-day work and general instruction on new projects or assignments.
