Eligibility:

• Junior Supervisor Grade III Trainee: Candidates must have passed Diploma with minimum 60% marks in Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Ship Building, Chemical, Electronics & Communication Discipline from a Recognized Institute.
• Junior Supervisor Grade III: Candidates must have passed Diploma with minimum 50% marks in Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Ship Building, Chemical, Electronics & Communication Discipline from a Recognized Institute. Candidates should have minimum four years of experience in Shipbuilding / Ship Repairs / Naval Dock Yards.
  Minimum 4 years of experience in Shipbuilding / Ship Repairs / Naval Dock Yards

Position:

• Junior Supervisor Grade III Trainee: 25 Posts
• Junior Supervisor Grade III: 25 Posts

Last Date: 27th August 2015

Age Limit: 25 years for Junior Supervisor Grade III Trainee, and 30 years for Junior Supervisor Grade III positions as on 27-August-2015.
Relaxation in upper age limit as per rules.

Salary:

• Junior Supervisor Grade III Trainee: Stipend Rs. 8000/- p.m. during the training period.
  After successful completion of training, they will be absorbed as Jr. Supervisor Gr III in the pay scale of Rs. 7650-15300 plus other admissible allowances
• Junior Supervisor Grade III :Rs. 7650-15300 plus other admissible allowances.

About Hindustan Shipyard Ltd

The Hindustan Shipyard Ltd, Visakhapatnam was set up in the year 1941 by the Scindia Steam Navigation Company. The Shipyard was partially taken over by Govt. of India in 1952, and HSL became a fully Govt of India owned enterprise in Jul 1961. Presently, this is the largest public sector shipyard in the country and the first yard to obtain ISO 9001-2000 accreditation. Recently, the yard has obtained certificate of approval of ISO 9001-2008 Certification from IRQS on 09 Nov 2012. Since inception, the yard has delivered 173 vessels of various types and repaired over 1920 vessels.
