Eligibility: Bachelor Degree in Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry (or) its similar Qualification from any recognized Board or University.
Position: Assistant Commandant(Veterinary) Group-A 08 Posts
Last Date: 31st August 2015
Age Limit: Between 23 to 35 Years
Age Relaxation is Applicable as per rules
Salary: Between Rs.15,600 to 39,100/- Grade Pay Rs.5,400/-

Application Fee:
- The General/OBC category candidates will have to pay examination fee of Rs. 50/- (Rupees fifty only). Since vacancies are meant for General and OBC categories only, candidates of SC and ST categories who fulfill the eligibility criteria for general category may also apply for General category.
- Examination fee is exempted for SC/ST & female candidates.
About SSB :
Sashastra Seema Bal was established as Special Service Bureau in May 1963, in the aftermath of the Chinese aggression (in 1962). Sashastra Seema Bal came under aegis of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Jan 2001). SSB was declared a Lead Intelligence Agency for Indo Nepal (June 2001) and assigned the Indo Nepal border. Later, SSB was also assigned Indo Bhutan border (March 2004). In March 2004, SSB received the President’s Colours (March 2004) in recognition of the keystone role in national security, since its inception.
