Eligibility Criteria:
- Relevant University degree, preferably in Mass Communications, English, or Publishing.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience in data analysis and cleansing, using advanced features of MS Excel, such as filters, macros, embedded formulas, conditional formatting, graphical output, etc.
- Good experience with database software (Filemaker, Access, etc).
- Experience with CRM databases (Salesforce, etc) desirable.
- Experience with website content management systems desirable.
- Ability to document processes and procedures clearly, concisely, and for a range of target audiences, in appropriate and correct written English.
- Basic understanding of/experience of working within the publishing industry desirable.
Job Description :
Based in the Press India Operations Centre, the role will be involved in supporting the work of the Data and Marketing Services department in English Language Teaching.
- The role will include the optimisation, analysis, and cleansing of data in line with business requirements.
- The role will also support the changes to systems and processes across the Global English Language Teaching business.
- Assisting with projects managed by the Marketing Services Department, including the annual price review and sales forecasting processes
- Mapping and maintaining marketing data usage and data flows across Press systems and marketing platforms
- Working with the Senior Data and Marketing Services Manager to reduce inefficiencies in current systems and processes
- Proposing modifications to existing processes as required
- Creating, compiling, analysing and distributing reports
- Supporting the development of customer relationship management (CRM) systems (analysis of existing data, creation of new data sets, managing and supporting the implantation of new systems)
- Keeping up to date and expanding knowledge of new systems at the Press, coupled with the ability to learn new software and tools required for future development
- Helping to develop and maintain a data dictionary and data flow documents, including user manuals for bespoke systems and processes
