Job Description :
- Laser Science and Technology Centre (LASTEC), a DRDO laboratory under Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India, has a vision to be the Centre of excellence in-the field of Laser and Optelectronics. Its mission is to develop high power laser sources for directed energy applications and technologies and systems for laser support measure s like CBRNE detectors, weapon locators, laser illuminators, laser countermeasure systems including non lethal systems and to carry out advanced directed research in the fields of lasers and photonics.
- Five positions of Junior Research Fellows (JRF) are to be filled up at LASTEC. A Walkin Interview will be held in this Centre on 27 & 28.10.2015 0930 hrs for selecting Five candidates for award of Junior Research Fellows initially for a period of two years to work in the area of Laser Technologyl Applied Optics IOptoetectronics.
Essential Qualification :
- Physics :
- M.Sc in Physicsl Lasersl Applied Opticsl Fiber 03 Optics/Optics/Opto-electronics with 1st Divisiori. WIth NETI GATE Qualification OR -
- M. Tech. in Fiber opticsl Applied Optics/ Optics ILasersl Opto-electronics with 1st Division in graduation & Post-graduation.
- Electronics :
- BE/B. Tech in ElectronicslECE with 1st Division with NET IGATE Qualification
