Salary: The CTC for a Sub Lieutenant would be approximately Rs. 74,100/- per month. This includes Basic Pay, DA, Grade Pay, Military Service Pay, House Rent Allowances, Transport Allowance, Ration Allowance and kit Maintenance Allowance. These rates are subject to change.

 PC (Education) (i) MSc Physics (with Maths in BSc)
(ii) MSc Maths (with Physics in BSc)
(iii) MSc Chemistry
(iv) MA (English or History or Pol. Science)
(v) MCA (Physics or Maths at Graduation Level)
OR
BE/B Tech/M Tech in any of the following disciplines:- (i) Mechanical (ii) Electronics & Communication (iii) Electrical & Electronics (iv) Electronics & Instrumentation (v) Electronics & Tele Communication (vi) Electrical (vii) Computer Science (viii) Information & Technology
60% for BTech , 50% for M.Tech and 50% for Other
 PC (NAIC)  B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics. Production, Instrumentation, IT, Chemical, Metallurgy and Aerospace Engineering  60%
 SSC (Logistics)  (i) B.E/B. Tech in any discipline with first class (ii) MBA with First Class (iii) B.Sc /B.Com/B.Sc(IT) with first class and a PG Diploma in Finance/Logistics/Supply Chain Management/Material Management (iv) MCA/MSC(IT) with First Class  60%
