Job Description :
- Good knowledge of design patterns.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Hands on experience on the application servers like tomcat, jboss, WebSphere.
- Knowledge of concurrency patterns in Java.
- Familiarity with concepts of MVC, JDBC, and RESTful.
- Experience with popular frameworks like Spring, Struts & ORM such as Hibernate, JPA.
- Experience with both external and embedded databases like MySQL, Postgres, HSQLDB, SQLite etc.
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, SVN.
- Familiarity with build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle.
- Familiarity with continuous integration.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience on the UI technologies and frameworks like JQuery, Dojo, extJs.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Java GUI frameworks such as GWT , AWT and presentation layer using JSP, HTML5.
- Knowledge of NoSQL DB like MongoDB, Hbase.
