1. Project Officer-I
• Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) is a Scientific Society of the Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Government of India. C-DAC is a National Centre of Excellence, pioneering application oriented research, design and development in Electronics and Information Technology. C-DAC has contributed significantly to the growth of the industry in general and the electronics sector in particular through the indigenous development of commercially viable systems and products, foreign technology absorption, adaptation and upgradation, consultancy and training and turnkey implementation of contract projects. C-DAC has several firsts to its credits and is the recipient of prestigious national level awards for excellence in application-oriented R & D.
2. Project Officer-I (HR / Public Administration / Legal / Finance)
• Number of Posts – 3 Posts (GEN: 03)
• Remuneration – Rs. 26,500/- Consolidated per month (Rupees Twenty Six Thousand Five Hundred only)
3. Project Officer-I (HR / Administration / Legal)
• Remuneration : Rs.26, 500/- per month (consolidated). (Rupees Twenty Six Thousand and Five Hundred only per month)
• Number of Posts : 2 (Two)
• Qualifications required for the post: Two years full time MBA in Human Resource Management / Public Administration OR 3 Years full time LLB OR Post Graduate degree in HRM / Public Administration with minimum 50% marks and at least 3 years post qualification work experience in the field of General Administration, Recruitment, Office Management, Human Relations, Legal and other routine Logistic services in a reputed Organisation employing a minimum 100 regular staff. Good working knowledge in Computer applications.
• Desirable: . Experience in Government / Autonomous / PSUs will be an added advantage
4. Project Officer-I (Finance)
• Remuneration : Rs.26,500/- per month (consolidated). (Rupees Twenty Six Thousand Five Hundred only per month)
• Number of Posts : 1(One)
• Qualifications required for the post: CA / CS / ICWA OR Two years full time MBA in Finance Management OR M.Com with minimum 50% marks and at least 3 years post qualification work experience in routine accounting functions especially in Purchase / Sales Accounting, Accounts finalization & Audit, Taxation and Statutory compliances, Budgeting & MIS in a reputed Organisation employing a minimum 100 regular staff. Good working knowledge in Computer applications & Tally Software.
• Desirable: Experience in Government / Autonomous / PSUs will be an added advantage.
• Age Limit: Should not exceed 30 years as on April 01, 2014. Relaxation upto 3 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer), 5 years for SC / ST, 10 years for PWD (Persons With Disabilities) candidates are admissible as per GOI orders.

About the Company:

After being denied Cray supercomputers as a result of a technology embargo, India started a program to develop an indigenous supercomputer in collaboration with Russia. Supercomputers were considered a double edged weapon capable of assisting in the development of nuclear weapons. For the purpose of achieving self-sufficiency in the field, C-DAC was established by the Department of Electronics in 1988. Vijay Bhatkar was hired as the Director of C-DAC. The project was given an initial run of 3 years and an initial funding of INR30,00,00,000 as the same amount of money and time was usually expended to secure the purchase of a supercomputer from the US. In 1990, a prototype was produced and was benchmarked at the 1990 Zurich Supercomputering Show. It surpassed most other systems, placing second after US. The final result of the effort was the PARAM 8000, which was installed in 1991. It is considered India's first supercomputer.

Please mention name of the applicant and Online Application Number on the backside of the Demand Draft.
• Receipt of hardcopy along with proof of age, qualification and experience is mandatory for considering the application.
• Candidates should also keep the hard copy of application with them for submission at the time of Test / Interview, if they are shortlisted for the same.
